Where do I put the pads?

The adductor brevis is a short muscle on the upper inner thigh that makes up part of the groin area. It helps pull the leg towards the body.

Common Symptoms

  • Pain, tenderness, or swelling over the inner thigh and groin
  • Pain, and sometimes limping, with walking that gets worse with activity
  • Muscle spasm in the groin or inner thigh
  • Pain when moving the hip, mostly when spreading the legs apart or pushing the legs together
  • Knee or hip pain

Common Causes

  • Sudden movements in sports
  • Kicking, sprinting or pivoting
