Adductor Brevis
Where do I put the pads?
The adductor brevis is a short muscle on the upper inner thigh that makes up part of the groin area. It helps pull the leg towards the body.
Common Symptoms
- Pain, tenderness, or swelling over the inner thigh and groin
- Pain, and sometimes limping, with walking that gets worse with activity
- Muscle spasm in the groin or inner thigh
- Pain when moving the hip, mostly when spreading the legs apart or pushing the legs together
- Knee or hip pain
Common Causes
- Sudden movements in sports
- Kicking, sprinting or pivoting
