Halo Pads
Why do you need pads?
A pad is what attaches to the body to transfer the electric stimulation from the Halo device. All pads have a gel coating that not only helps stick to the skin, but acts as a bridge for the stimulation signals. We’ve created several muscle specific pads that help contour more closely to the specific area of the body providing more contact and stimulation.
Types of pads:
Triggerpoint
Designed to be a great all-around pad. It works anywhere & it’s easy to use.
Triggerpoint Extension
Using the extension wire, these pads can extend the reach of the Halo to address a larger part of the body.
Lower Back
The lower back pad was designed to span across the entire lower back specifically the muscles connected to the lumbar region of the vertebrae.
Shoulder
The shoulder pad was designed to contour from the front to rear deltoid muscle. The deltoid is used when lifting the arm away from the body.
Trapezius / Rhomboid
This pad was designed specifically to hit trigger points near the spine that can send pain signals to both the neck and shoulders.
Upper Back
This is the largest pad we make, and requires two Halo units to function properly. The top attaches between the neck and shoulders, and follows the trapezius muscle down to the middle of the back.
TFL / Hip Flexor
The hip flexors are made up of many muscles, one of which being the TFL (Tensor Fascia Latte). This muscle helps lift the leg and when too tight or weak, is one of the main contributors of IT band pain in the knee.
Glute
This pad was created to cover the gluteus maximus, medius and/or minimus depending on the size of the glutes. Glutes are a large contributor to back pain and are often overstretched and weak due to the amount of sitting we do.
Quad
This pad was designed to contour around the leg and the three outer muscles of the quad.
Calf
The calf pad was designed to mirror the shape of the calf muscles.
